Hand Painted Footballs by Paul Nichols |
Hand Painted Footballs are available for custom orders - just email me at paul at paulnicholsart.com with what you'd like on your football and what size you'd like.
You can opt for a specific player, event, or team.
Generally, the footballs are painted with a white background on 2 of the 4 panels of the ball, then the artwork is added.
Regulation size footballs are $495.00 ( One player depicted - multiple players would be additional).

| Sean Taylor Football ( #5 !)
This football was done for the Hogfarmers (www.hogfarmers.org), who in their own words, "...is a group of Redskins super fans who aim to elevate the mental, social, and emotional well-being of children and their families affected by pediatric cancer."
I'm proud to do artwork that supports their cause.

University of Michigan Hand Painted Football |
This University of Michigan football is a "full-coverage" football. Painted on both sides, these are $275. The difference you see in the "Michigan" logo art (2nd pic has the "Michigan" text) is because the Client wanted the Michigan logo without the text in the logo. So the original look (2nd pic) was changed to what you see in the composite photo.

Robert Griffin III Hand Painted Football |
 |
RGIII Hand Painted Football |
|
| This hand-painted football highlight Robert Griffin III and his iconic "Griffining" pose was a Labor Day project. I figured the day couldn't pass without me doing SOMETHING, so I grabbed a football and pondered a bit. Worked about 3 hours on the 1st and another 3 on the 2nd, completing it around 11:00pm. Posted the football on Facebook and Ebay and in about 10 minutes, the ball was SOLD.
The photos here show it before it was sealed. The spray sealer gives it a really nice shine, but makes photos tough due to the reflection, which is why I usually get the photos prior to sealing it.

Baltimore Ravens Hand Painted Football |
| Baltimore Ravens hand painted football. This was done more as a practice ball, to get a feel for painting these. Obviously, because of the surface, it's a little more tricky than painting on a baseball.
